Janet Tate-Brown, DNP, FNP-BC

Janet Tate-Brown, DNP, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, is a family nurse practitioner who specializes in primary care at Uncharted Healthcare in Goodyear, Arizona. Janet has over 12 years of health experience, working in the hospital emergency room, telemetry unit, and observation unit. 

Janet completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, graduating with honors. She then went on to receive her master’s degree in nursing  from The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where she also graduated with high academic honors. While working in primary care, she pursued her doctorate in nursing practice (DNP) at Arizona State University Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation. 

She is certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and she loves to find new ways to help improve her patients’ quality of life. Janet is passionate about teaching patients preventive health measures to reduce their risk of chronic disease. 

As a world traveler, Janet enjoys coming across different cultures and learning new languages. She also finds bliss in spending time with her husband, twin daughters, and son.
